Educational leaders and teachers are invited to attend the next Literacy Guarantee Conference which will feature a range of leading experts in literacy to support leaders and teachers to more effectively meet the needs of all students.

There will be a range of workshop topics available from phonological awareness to understanding and catering for dyslexia.

Keynote Address: Anne Bayetto

A whole-school approach to supporting students with spelling with a focus on students with learning difficulties.

This keynote will look at the latest research on teaching spelling for all students, and its implications for practice. It will focus on effective evidence-based practices for quality Wave 1 differentiated teaching across year levels, with a specific focus on classroom pedagogy that caters for students with learning difficulties.

Anne is a researcher and teacher with the Flinders University, College of Education. Her work focuses on developing whole-school approaches to literacy improvement with a focus on reading. In addition to her research work, Anne offers training and development to schools and preschools, as well as teaching graduate and post-graduate courses.
