Make sure the voices of South Australian teachers are heard in shaping the future of the teaching profession in Australia.

South Australian teachers have been invited to participate in the annual Australian Teacher Workforce Data teacher survey. The national project is helping to build a picture of the profession to inform future decision making.

Each registered teacher should have recieved a link to the survey, emailed by the TRB on behalf of survey organiser AITSL (sent on August 25).

The ATWD is collecting nationally consistent data on subjects like how many teachers there are, how many graduates get jobs, the types of contracts teachers are employed under, teacher career paths and experiences and how many teachers are entering and leaving the profession.

These insights will identify how to better support teachers and their wellbeing and ensure teachers in schools and early childhood settings can deliver quality learning to every child.
